Situation

We are located in the "Médoc bleu",  five minutes from a 60 mile long stretch of white sandy beach and ocean, surrounded by pine and oak forests, next to France’s largest lake, and last but not least close to the world famous vineyards of the Médoc: Margaux, Saint-Estèphe, Saint Julien, Pauillac,... We are 50 miles from Bordeaux.

Surroundings

The holiday home is at the heart of a completely new riding centre (fluent English and French spoken). It is surrounded by lovely pastures and woodlands. From here you will find lovely trails taking you to the beach by foot, bicycle or on horseback. We are only 4 miles from the ocean.

Indoors

In the summer heat, the holiday home stays very cool and comfortable. It has two bedrooms: one double bedroom, one 2 single bed room, one living room which can host another bed. It has a large kitchen and a bathroom with a spacious shower.

Outdoors

There is a large closed garden for farniente and play.  The estate has a mile-long lane which surrounds all the paddocks so you can enjoy watching and stroking the horses, poneys, donkeys and sheep, all very friendly.

The Riding centre

We offer hacking or riding lessons for all levels with fully qualified riding instructors who will make you discover the pleasures of riding or improve your skills in show-jumping, dressage, cross-country, poney-games,...

Other sports

All water sports can be found at Montalivet, 4 miles away with high quality surfing waves. For those who prefer Inland water, there is water-skiing and sailing 15 miles south at Hourtin, the largest lake in France.

There is also tennis, golf and flying.
